Assistant Floor & Operations Manager

• Location: Coffs Harbour, NSW
• Salary: $78,000 + Monthly KPI Bonus (after 6 months)
• Hours: Monday–Friday, 4:30am–1:30pm (42.5 hrs/week)
• Occasional Saturday work during peak periods (Easter, October holidays, Christmas/New Year)

About the Role
An experienced and proactive Assistant Floor & Operations Manager is required to support daily warehouse and production operations at a busy food distribution facility in Coffs Harbour.
This hands-on position is responsible for managing people, product flow, and compliance across warehouse, load-out, inventory, and processing areas, ensuring seamless day-to-day performance and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily floor and warehouse operations across multiple departments.
• Manage and roster operational staff (butchers, storepersons, fish filleters, and drivers).
• Ensure accurate receival, storage, and dispatch of stock.
• Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP compliance.
• Conduct stocktakes, staff reviews, and operational reporting.
• Coordinate site maintenance, contractor works, and consumables ordering.
• Promote a positive, safety-focused team culture.

About You

• Demonstrated experience in warehouse, logistics, or food manufacturing operations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• High attention to detail with a practical, hands-on work style.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

• Forklift Licence (required)
• Full Driver’s Licence (required)
• First Aid Certificate (desirable)
• HACCP qualification or willingness to obtain (supported by employer)
