About the Role:

• Workshop-based fitting and fabrication work in Perth (no site travel required)
• Involved in the fabrication, rebuild and assembly of large-scale equipment such as:
• Shiploaders and port handling systems
• Crushers, conveyors, screens, and other mining plant
• Reading and interpreting mechanical drawings
• Working closely with boilermakers, welders, and project supervisors
• Using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments
• Quality control checks and adherence to safety standards

What We're Looking For:

• Experience in heavy fabrication, rebuilds, or shutdown preparation
• Strong mechanical aptitude and commitment to safe work practices
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Workshop experience preferred - shiploader/port or mining gear ideal
