About the Role
As a Plant Operator, you’ll play a key part in maintaining and improving Tenterfield’s roads and infrastructure.
Key responsibilities include:
Operating and maintaining Council water carts and other road plant and machinery
Assisting with road construction, maintenance, and general labouring
Performing daily maintenance checks and accurate record-keeping via tablet/iPad
Installing signage and erosion control measures
Ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards
What You’ll Need
Certificate II in Civil Construction (or equivalent)
Heavy Rigid (HR) Licence
Minimum 2 years’ experience in road construction or maintenance
Bonus, if you have:
Certificate III in Civil Construction (training support provided)
Traffic Controller qualification (SafeWork NSW)
White Card, First Aid Certificate, and relevant plant competency
