About the role

We are seeking skilled and experienced Street Sweeper & Water Cart Operators to join our team at Dynamic Hydro Excavations in Sydney, NSW. As an Operator, you will play a vital role in supporting a wide range of civil and construction projects by ensuring site cleanliness, dust suppression, and safe water management. These are full-time positions, offering the opportunity to work with a dynamic and growing organisation.

What you'll be doing

Operating street sweepers and/or water carts to maintain clean, safe, and compliant worksites

Carrying out routine maintenance and pre-start checks on equipment to ensure reliability and performance

Following all safety procedures, traffic management requirements, and environmental regulations

Working closely with project managers, supervisors, and site crews to meet project deadlines and expectations

Maintaining accurate records of equipment use and site activity

Assisting and mentoring less experienced operators when required

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years’ experience operating street sweepers and/or water carts in the civil or construction industry

Possession of a valid HR or HC class driver’s licence

Strong understanding of traffic management, site safety protocols, and environmental practices

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving

Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
