About the role

Immediate start

BUILDON CONSTRUCTION is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our construction projects in Katanning, WA. As a contract position, this role will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe delivery of all construction activities on site. You will play a vital role in leading our team and maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and productivity.

This is a short-term Contract to December 19, 2025 - with view and first option of continuation to 6 months

What you'll be doing

Coordinate and supervise all on-site construction activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control

Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations

Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to effectively manage project timelines and budgets

Identify and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the construction process

Maintain accurate records and documentation, and provide regular progress reports to the project management team

Mentor and develop the site team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment

What we're looking for

Ideally experienced with working autonomously as Site Manager or similar role in the construction industry

Thorough understanding of construction methods, project management, and quality control processes

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with a range of stakeholders

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering practical, cost-effective solutions

Demonstrated experience in leading and motivating teams, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment

Familiarity with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations in the construction industry

Proficiency in using construction management software and digital tools

What we offer

Initially 3 Month Contract, with view of completing the Project (Aug 2026) if the requirement continues

Hourly rate (paid weekly)

Separate LAFA daily (paid weekly)
