About the role

Total Diesel Repairs (TDR) is seeking an experienced Field Service Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our team based in Dubbo, NSW. We have multiple contracts with multiple Mine sites across NSW as well as our own equipment. This full-time role will involve the diagnosis, repair and maintenance of heavy diesel equipment and vehicles. With flexible rosters and pay rates, we also offer a work vehicle and company fuel card to any promising employees. You will be a key part of our skilled team, ensuring our clients' machinery is operating at peak performance.

What you'll be doing

Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on a variety of heavy & light vehicle equipment

Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic issues

Test and inspect components to identify problems and develop solutions

Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used

What we're looking for

Cert III Motor Vehicle Repairer / Mobile Plant Light Vehicle or Heavy

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

Excellent mechanical aptitude and technical expertise

Experience working with a wide range of equipment

Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team

Strong communication skills

A current driver's licence
