Key Responsibilities:

• 🔧 Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on heavy diesel engines and plant machinery.
• 🛠️ Conduct fault diagnosis, troubleshooting, and component replacements.
• ⚙️ Complete fabrication, welding repairs, and modifications as needed.
• 📝 Carry out preventative maintenance and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• 📊 Maintain accurate service records and report faults requiring further investigation.
• 🧰 Ensure a safe and clean working environment, following WHS procedures.

Ideal Candidate:

• 🏅 Trade qualification in Heavy Diesel Mechanics or equivalent.
• 🚛 Experience servicing and repairing heavy vehicles and equipment.
• 🧰 Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills across mechanical and electrical systems.
• ⚙️ Experience on CAT equipment (914 to 990K) is a plus.
• 🤝 Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• 🚦 Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
