We’re seeking an experienced and motivated Repair Team Leader to oversee refrigerated truck body repairs at our Greystanes Depot. You’ll lead a skilled team to deliver top-quality repairs, maintain workshop standards, and ensure smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the Repair Team.

Manage repair workflow, allocate jobs, and ensure timely, high-quality results.

Provide hands-on support with truck body and panel repairs when required.

Prepare repair quotes and liaise with internal teams and customers.

Conduct stocktakes and help maintain accurate workshop inventory.

Uphold and promote workplace safety and compliance.

Mentor and train team members, building a positive, high-performing culture.

Collaborate with operations and customers to deliver outstanding service.

Ensure workshop tools and equipment are properly maintained.

About You

Trade qualification in panel beating, body building, or fabrication (essential).

Experience in refrigerated truck body, trailer, or commercial vehicle repair.

Proven leadership or supervisory experience in a workshop environment.

Strong communication and organisational skills, with a “lead by example” mindset.

Experience with quoting and stocktake processes (advantageous).

Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and continuous improvement.

Basic computer literacy and willingness to learn internal systems.
