The Role
MKC are seeking an experienced and passionate CENTRE MANAGER to lead our team and manage the day-to-day operations of our Mareeba Kids Campus Dunlop St service https://mareebakidscampus.com.au/
Reporting to the General Manager, you will be required to
Lead and inspire your team to provide exceptional education and care
Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF) and MKC standards
Build and maintain strong relationships with families and the local community
Manage enrolments, budgets, and staffing effectively
Drive continuous improvement and foster a culture of quality and collaboration
Support the professional growth and development of your team develop, implement and monitor high quality learning programs, that are fun and engaging;
Implement and monitor the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Standards, whilst embracing the values and vision of Mareeba Kids Campus.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and inspire your team to provide exceptional education and care.
Oversee budgets and centre costs with the ability to identify opportunities for growth, improve operational systems, and lead the Centre towards increased occupancy and ensure financial sustainability.
A strong knowledge of regulatory requirements ensuring your centre remains fully compliant with all relevant legislation.
Strong people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team by demonstrating authentic and consistent leadership
Optimise staffing through strategic rostering, ensuring the right people are in the right places.
Develop professional and positive relationships with families.
Champion a strong safety culture, implementing processes to ensure safety risks are managed.
Build effective and healthy partnerships with team members, children and families and the community through effective, respectful relationships and open communication.
Essential Qualifications/Requirements
Minimum 3 years’ proven experience as a Centre Manager, or in a senior leadership role within a childcare service.
Completed a Diploma of Children's Services (Early Childhood Education and Care) or other relevant industry qualifications – or working towards
Current First Aid qualifications or the ability to obtain
Current QLD Working with Children Check issued by Blue Card Services, Department of Justice and Attorney-General
