ABOUT THE COMPANY
We are representing a well-established architectural practice with a strong presence in Sydney's southern suburbs, this firm is renowned for its refined design sensibility and deep expertise in the residential sector. With a diverse portfolio that spans luxury custom homes (with build values reaching into the tens of millions), high-end multi-residential developments, and Class 2 residential schemes, they offer a dynamic environment for architects looking to sharpen their skills across a broad range of residential typologies. While most of their work is residential, they also engage in select commercial projects, giving team members the opportunity to expand their experience across sectors.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This position is open to both Graduate Architects with strong technical and design skills, as well as Registered Architects with proven experience leading projects. The successful candidate will join a very collaborative environment and contribute to the delivery of high-quality residential architecture. For more senior candidates, this will include end-to-end project management responsibilities. You'll be working closely with Directors, clients, consultants, and builders on beautifully designed projects.
DUTIES
- Contribute to the design and documentation of high-end residential and multi-residential projects
- Prepare DA/CC documentation packages using Revit
- Coordinate with consultants, local councils, and other stakeholders
- For Registered Architects: lead projects through all phases from concept to delivery, including client liaison and contract administration
- Ensure compliance with relevant building codes and regulations
- Support project team with problem-solving and technical guidance
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- A degree in Architecture or similar field
- Strong proficiency in Revit is essential, ideally with hands-on documentation experience
- A solid understanding of the NSW planning system and BCA/NCC
- Strong design communication and documentation skills
- For Registered Architects: demonstrated experience running residential projects independently
- High attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively within a small team
