The Role

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Payroll Officer to join the team on a temporary basis, providing essential support during a busy period. Working as part of a close-knit payroll group and reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will:

Manage end-to-end weekly and monthly payroll for approximately 500 employees

Process new starters, terminations, and adjustments

Oversee payroll tax, superannuation, and incentive payments

Maintain compliance with awards and enterprise agreements

Assist with reconciliations, reporting, and audit preparation

Support the Payroll Manager during the month-end and EOFY cycles

Your Background

To be considered for this position, you will have:

Immediate or short-term availability

Experience working in a high-volume, multi-site payroll environment

Strong working knowledge of Micropay (essential) and familiarity with Tanda (desirable)

Good understanding of payroll compliance, superannuation, and taxation

Excellent attention to detail and a collaborative working style
