Company Background

Our client is a “for purpose” business that focuses on bettering the lives of people living with impairments all across the Sydney area. They are seeking a temporary, standalone Payroll Officer to join their team and support the finance team and the business through a period of leave.

The Role

As the sole Payroll Officer, you will manage:

Fortnightly payroll for 300-350 employees (mostly permanent)

Processing new starters, terminations

Calculating leave balances

Managing payroll tax and superannuation

Monitoring timesheets through Humanforce

Answering all payroll-related queries

Your Background

To be considered for this role, you will have the following skills and attributes:

Immediately available (or available from the 13th October)

Prior experience in a standalone payroll position

Experience with Micropay and/or Humanforce is highly regarded, but not essential

EBA/Award interpretation experience (SCHADS is advantageous)
