- Base salary range: Level A, $144,143 – $165,809 p.a. (pro-rata) plus 17% superannuation.

About the area
The University of Western Australia (UWA) Medical School is the largest and longest established medical school in Western Australia. In 1996 it established the nationally recognised Centre for Aboriginal Medical and Dental Health (CAMDH) and graduated Australia’s first Indigenous doctor. The School also has substantial and successful research programs across most disciplines in the medical sector.
About the opportunity
- Coordinating the Indigenous health teaching, learning and assessment activities within the clinical phase of the UWA MD program
- Make a key contribution to the development, delivery and evaluation of Indigenous Health curricula activities in Year 3 and 4 of the UWA program,
- Represent the Indigenous Health team on relevant committees in Year 3 and 4 of the MD, as well as engage with key stakeholders
About you
- Health qualification with current registration to practice within Australia and related clinical experience.
- Demonstrated experience in engaging and working with the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community and organisations.
- Demonstrated experience medical student teaching, learning, assessment, and support of students.
Confirmation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander heritage will be required for the successful applicant prior to appointment.
