Your new role

This role offers the opportunity to join a skilled and close-knit construction team delivering high-quality outdoor living projects across South Australia. As a Carpenter, you'll play a key role in the hands-on construction of pergolas, decking, verandahs and other custom outdoor structures, working from both detailed plans and on-site problem-solving. You'll collaborate closely with site supervisors, apprentices and other trades to ensure each project meets the company's strict standards of quality, safety and craftsmanship. Your ability to read drawings, measure accurately and execute clean, efficient work will directly contribute to the company's reputation for precision, reliability and exceptional client satisfaction. The role suits someone with solid trade experience, attention to detail and pride in their workmanship--someone who thrives in a supportive, team-focused environment where initiative and professionalism are valued and rewarded.

What you’ll need to succeed

• Qualified Carpenter with proven experience in residential or outdoor construction
• Strong skills in timber and steel framing, decking, and pergola installation
• Ability to read and interpret detailed plans and technical drawings
• High attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship and precision finishes
• Confident operating hand and power tools safely and efficiently
• Strong problem-solving skills and initiative to adapt on site when required
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills within a small, collaborative crew
• Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment
• Current driver's licence is essential
• White Card and relevant trade qualifications (Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent)
• Professional, reliable, and customer-focused attitude aligned with company values
• Willingness to mentor apprentices and contribute to a positive team culture
