About the role

We are seeking an experienced Formwork Carpenters to join our team in Adelaide on a tunnel project. As a Formwork Carpenter, you will be responsible for the construction and installation of concrete formwork on various construction sites. This is a casual position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work on diverse projects within the building industry.

What you'll be doing

Interpret blueprints and drawings to fabricate and assemble wooden or metal formwork structures

Install and dismantle formwork systems to precise specifications

Ensure formwork is properly braced and supported to withstand the weight and pressure of concrete

Maintain and repair formwork components as needed

Work collaboratively with the construction team to coordinate formwork activities

Adhere to all health, safety and quality standards on the job site

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a Formwork Carpenter or similar role in the construction industry

Strong knowledge of formwork construction techniques and materials

Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and blueprints

Proficient in the use of power tools and carpentry equipment

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality work

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Valid construction industry white card and driver's licence
