Therapea Health is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to make a real difference in the lives of others - either full-time or part-time if preferred.

This role is based in our boutique allied-health clinic in the heart of Werribee, but is also a hybrid role, comprising of in-clinic appointments and community visits, as well as working from home.

Our Occupational Therapists apply evidence-based practices that build up our client's capacity and address their personal goals, with a variety of practical supports and strategies that result in positive and measurable outcomes.

Our Occupational Therapists deliver ongoing support to their regular weekly and fortnightly clients, as well as undertake a variety of standardized assessments, NDIS Functional Capacity reports, toileting strategies and letters of recommendation, as needed.

Whilst there is a significant paediatric client base, we can also offer a greater mix of clients for those experienced in mental health occupational therapy, or in assessing and supporting mobility impaired adults.

Candidates who have experience assessing client's Assistive Technology needs, and/or Driver safety and ability will be favourably considered and paid accordingly.

The successful candidate will enjoy being part of a vibrant and culturally diverse multidisciplinary allied health team that includes experienced paediatric OTs, Psychologists and Counsellors.

As a multi-disciplinary allied-health practice, our OTs have the added advantage of being able to seek guidance and bounce ideas off their colleagues, and discuss strategies that best support their client’s emotional and psycho-social needs.

This role is mainly based in our Werribee clinic, but offers an opportunity to be see clients at school or home on set days. There is also be an opportunity to work from home 1 day per fortnight, giving the OT a variety of work environments and autonomy.

All client administration (scheduling appointments and billing) is taken care of, so that you can focus on taking care of our valued clients.

Please note: whilst we support clients of all ages, as there are many school-aged children and adolescents, we prefer to start and finish our workdays later to be available to support the after-school clients, where possible.
