About the role
Join Jenover Supports' team as an Occupational Therapist based in Bannockburn, VIC with a hybrid working model available to support an effective work life balance. This role is a minimum of 24hrs across the week and an exciting opportunity to be part of a smaller organisation that values what each team member contributes, allowing the opportunity to bring your strengths to the team and learn from our existing multidisciplinary/experienced team members, to continually strengthen your skills. We are dedicated to providing high-quality rehabilitation and support services customised to meet individual needs. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a key part in helping clients achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.
What you'll be doing
Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' needs, goals and barriers with the majority of the clientele primary school aged, teens and often newly diagnosed adults.
Develop and implement individualised occupational therapy treatment plans
Provide one-on-one and join with other team members to deliver group therapy sessions to help clients improve their independence in daily living activities
Collaborate with clients, families, and the multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care
Document client progress, outcomes, and maintain accurate records with efficiency supported through the use of modern software programs that utilise AI.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of service delivery
Engage in professional development to stay up-to-date with industry best practices
What we're looking for
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist or AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist to be obtained within 30 days of commencement
New graduates welcome to apply, supervision provided
Strong clinical assessment and intervention skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Commitment to providing high-quality, client-centred care
Willingness to contribute to the growth and development of the organisation
Full Australian working rights is required for this position
Current Working with Children Check and NDIS worker registration is required
