About the Role

As an APS6 Data Analyst, you will provide expert data analysis and business insights to support strategic and operational initiatives. You will develop dashboards, reports, and visualisations, translate workforce designs into actionable inputs, and provide guidance to internal stakeholders and external consultants. This role requires high-level problem-solving, data-driven decision-making, and the ability to work across multidisciplinary teams in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver data analysis, dashboards, and visualisations to support decision-making
• Translate workforce designs into modellable inputs and inform FTE forecasts
• Undertake stakeholder engagement to align with transition and workforce priorities
• Provide leadership and oversight for business analysis functions and project outputs
• Resolve complex issues using advanced analytical methods and risk assessment
• Support change management and stakeholder negotiation during organisational transitions

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence
• Advanced skills in data manipulation, modelling, and visualisation (Power Query desirable)
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences
• Experience managing stakeholders and supporting change processes
• Competence with Microsoft Office Suite and data management tools
• Understanding of disability, health, allied health, or related sectors is desirable

Existing Baseline security clearance is a mandatory requirement for this position.
