We’re seeking a compassionate and skilled Early Childhood Practitioner with an allied health background to join our Early Childhood Approach team. About the Role
As an Early Childhood Practitioner, you will:
- Use your allied health expertise to support children under 9 with developmental concerns or disability.
- Deliver early supports through coaching and capacity-building with families.
- Conduct assessments and provide tailored recommendations aligned with NDIS guidelines.
- Connect families to community and mainstream services and assist with NDIS access and understanding.
- Collaborate with allied health providers, educators, and support coordinators to promote inclusive practices.
This role is grounded in a strengths-based, family-centred approach and contributes to building inclusive communities where all children can thrive.
Position Details
- Fixed term position until 30 June 2027
- 1 FTE working 38 hours per week
- $101,032 p/a + Super + Salary Packaging

What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who brings empathy, professionalism, and a deep understanding of child development. To succeed in this role, you will have:
- A qualification in Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Psychology or equivalent.
- Experience supporting children with developmental delay or disability in community settings.
- Strong communication and engagement skills with children and families.
- The ability to work independently and manage a diverse caseload.
