Program & Position Overview

Junction’s Specialist Youth Services (SYS) Team aims to support young people residing in supported accommodation and housing, transitioning from care and into independence. The team works with young people to break down the barriers that prevent them from achieving their full potential. The SYS programs provide assessment, referral, case management, advocacy and information, stable housing and supported accommodation, and support which may include crisis resolution, life skills training, education support and employment opportunities, and aspirational thinking.

✅ Selection Criteria

A relevant tertiary qualification such as Social Work or Behavioural Science with a minimum of two years proven experience in delivering therapeutic services, management and supervision of staff.

Proven ability to provide supervision, leadership and direction from a sound theoretic knowledge.

Demonstrated ability to plan, develop, implement and evaluation programs and services.

Demonstrated experience in the delivery of trauma informed programs and services to children, young people and families.

Demonstrated experience in identifying client needs and expanding services to proactively achieve the organisation’s purpose and community need.

**Please note - position is based in Wodonga, applicants in the Wangaratta area are encouraged to apply also.
