About the Role

The Government's primary financial management system Masterpiece, used by most SA Government agencies excluding SA Health, is over 30 years old and nearing the end of its service life. The Finance Reform Program is leading a major initiative to replace it with Oracle and implement best practice processes. This transformation will significantly change how finance functions are performed across agencies and affect a wide range of stakeholders, including finance, ICT, and operations teams.

As an Integration Analyst, you'll play a key role in replacing the financial system and enhancing service delivery through greater efficiency and automation.

In this role, you will:

Design, develop and document system integrations and data migration plans.

Play a key role in system testing and deployment activities.

Conduct complex data cleansing and analysis.

Collaborate with technical teams, vendors, and stakeholders across government.

Support the transition from legacy systems to a modern finance platform.

Help shape smarter, more efficient financial operations across SA Government.

About You

You'll thrive here if you're passionate about improving how things work. We value people who bring diverse perspectives and enjoy working in a supportive, and high-performing environment.

We're looking for someone who has:

Significant experience in system integrations, data conversion and migration, design and testing of system interfaces.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Confidence working autonomously and collaboratively in a dynamic team.

High-level written and verbal communication skills with ability to produce unit test scripts (highly desirable).

Experience with MuleSoft, Oracle Integration Cloud, Oracle Fusion ERP or similar platforms (highly desirable).

Knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, and interface design (REST/SOAP/WSDL).
