Salary: Salary: $146,180 p.a. + super + benefits incl. salary packaging
Location: Hybrid based from anywhere in the western Victoria region
(Ballarat or Geelong area)
About Us
Western Victoria Primary Health Network (WVPHN) is responsible for increasing the efficiency, effectiveness and coordination of health services for patients, particularly those at risk of poor health outcomes.
Working together with community and health industry partners, WVPHN is committed to strengthening the primary healthcare system, based on local needs. Our four regional centres in Ballarat, Geelong, Horsham and Warrnambool, drive local engagement and ensure strong rural and regional connections, through the development of local community and clinical councils.
The Opportunity
We’re looking for a dynamic and experienced leader to join WVPHN as Senior Manager, People & Capability. In this hands-on leadership role, you’ll guide a dedicated team and play a key role in shaping our people strategy and organisational culture.
About the Role
As Senior Manager People & Capability, you’ll drive the development and delivery of people strategies that enhance the employee experience, build organisational capability, and support WVPHN’s strategic goals. You’ll lead the People & Capability function, fostering a culture of excellence, inclusion, and continuous improvement across the entire employee lifecycle.
What You’ll Bring
HR Expertise – Relevant tertiary qualifications and strong experience in contemporary HR and OHS practices
Leadership – Values-based leadership with a track record of inspiring teams and delivering strategic outcomes
Communication – Excellent stakeholder engagement across all levels
Operational Strength – Skilled in planning, project management, and navigating complex environments
Compliance Knowledge – Solid understanding of employment law, IR, and OHS obligations
Tech & Analysis – Proficient in HR systems and Microsoft Office, with a data-informed approach
Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
A current Victorian driver’s licence
Valid working rights in Australia (citizen, permanent resident, or appropriate visa)
Willingness to undergo a National Police Check prior to appointment
