Due to a recent internal promotion, an exciting opportunity for an experienced Legal Secretary to join this global powerhouse has become available. This role represents a great opportunity for a high performer to continue developing a career as a legal secretary whilst supporting the senior partner of the restructuring and insolvency team.
About the Role
You’ll play a key role in providing high-level administrative and legal secretarial support to the senior partner of the firm’s Restructure & Insolvency department. This will require a pro-active individual with exceptional planning skills and the confidence and capacity to work in a demanding role.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Providing professional support to a partner and fee earners across a range of legal matters
Managing client files from initiation to closure with precision and efficiency
Drafting, formatting and finalising correspondence, contracts and court documents
Coordinating meetings, calendars and occasional travel arrangements
Handling client communications, taking instructions and responding to enquiries
Assisting with billing processes and monthly invoicing
Opening new matters, archiving files and managing confidential firm information
Maintaining client data in CRM systems (e.g. InterAction)
About You
To suit the role and the organisation, you will be a go getter that thrives when working under the pressure of managing conflicting priorities and demanding schedules. It will be essential you demonstrate strong relationship building skills.
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Legal Secretary, preferably in commercial litigation
Excellent organisational and file management skills
Confidence in working directly with clients and senior legal professionals
Initiative and accountability – someone who takes ownership of tasks and meets deadlines with ease
Strong problem-solving skills and a team-first attitude
Advanced Microsoft Office skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly
High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality work
