About the role
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you'll lead a small team of design engineers and work closely with primary design, protection, and commissioning teams. You'll liaise with clients, OEMs, and utilities to ensure all deliverables meet compliance standards across Australian networks. The position will also contribute to tenders, design reviews, and process improvement initiatives.

Duties
* Lead secondary and SCADA design for transmission and distribution substations
* Develop protection, control, and SCADA philosophies and interface control documents
* Review schematics, wiring, and single-line diagrams for quality and compliance
* Support primary design coordination and protection logic integration

Skills & experience
* Degree-qualified Electrical Engineer (RPEQ/RPEV desirable)
* Expertise in HV secondary system and SCADA design across substations or renewable projects
* Strong knowledge of protection and control systems, IEDs, RTUs, and IEC61850 communications
* Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical and familiarity with commissioning/testing processes
