We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our specialised engineering team, delivering complex and customised solutions across industrial, commercial, and high-rise residential projects.

In this role, you will be responsible for the design, inspection, and commissioning of advanced electrical systems, with particular expertise required in building automation, elevator systems, and large-scale industrial installations. You will work within strict safety and quality frameworks, ensuring compliance with Australian and international standards (ISO), and the ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams under strict quality and safety frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

Implementation and monitoring of ISO-based quality control management systems across all projects.

Conducting detailed measuring and estimating of industrial and construction electrical projects prior to commencement.

Inspection, testing, and certification of elevator performance systems in commercial and high-rise buildings.

Preparation of detailed AutoCAD and ETAP design drawings for industrial and construction-grade projects.

Performing pre-commissioning and commissioning tests on construction and industrial electrical systems.

Design of grounding and bonding systems for buildings.

Design and implementation of Building Management Systems (BMS), smart home systems, and energy optimisation frameworks.

Development and commissioning of custom electrical panels for industrial and construction applications.

Design, implementation, and conversion of high- and low-voltage distribution systems.

Optimisation of electrical designs based on economic efficiency and strict compliance with international standards.

Preparation, control, and scheduling of projects with a focus on risk management and compliance.

Essential Requirements:

Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering.

Minimum 5 years' specialised professional experience in industrial and construction-based electrical engineering projects.

Documented experience in the inspection and certification of elevator electrical systems in multi-storey buildings.

Proven ability in advanced software (ETAP, MATLAB, Dialux or PowerWorld).

Demonstrated knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 45001.

Expertise in designing and implementing Building Management Systems (BMS) and smart energy solutions.

Strong capability in project management, including preparation and scheduling of large-scale projects.

Membership or eligibility for Engineers Australia highly regarded.
