About the role

As a senior engineer, you’ll balance hands-on technical work with leadership responsibilities. You’ll be trusted to deliver solutions end-to-end while also guiding junior engineers and coordinating internal resources.

Your work will sit squarely in the water and wastewater industry an essential sector that directly impacts communities every day. Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the design and delivery of electrical and control system solutions.
• Developing, testing, and commissioning PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems.
• Overseeing project delivery, including people and resource management.

• Translating complex client challenges into practical engineering outcomes.
• Acting as a trusted advisor in client-facing roles.

What we’re looking for

• RPEQ (or eligibility for RPEQ).
• Proven experience in control systems engineering while water/wastewater experience is preferred, oil & gas highly regarded.
• Full Australian working rights.
• Strong client-facing communication skills with a collaborative approach.
• A balance of confidence and humility, you are able to stand by your expertise, but also willing to admit mistakes and grow.
• Leadership qualities: able to mentor others and coordinate project teams.
• A problem-solver who thrives on delivering practical outcomes.
