About the role

Join the team at Traffic Engineering Australia as a TMD Traffic Management Designer . This full-time role is based in our Ormeau office.

What you'll be doing

Designing and delivering comprehensive traffic management plans for a range projects and short term works.

Providing expert guidance and technical advice to clients on traffic management and safety requirements

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless implementation of traffic management solutions

Conducting occasional site inspections, risk assessments and audits to identify and mitigate potential safety hazards

Preparing detailed reports, drawings and documentation to support traffic management strategies

Staying up-to-date with the latest industry regulations, guidelines and best practices

What we're looking for

Qualified Traffic Management Designer (TMD), with a focus on temporary traffic management, and engineering

Prior experience with with TMP/TGS and Risk assessment development

Ability to liaise with Road infrastructure managers, clients and team members

Thorough understanding of traffic management (TTM) legislation, standards (AS )and guidelines (QGTTM, AGTTM, MUTCD, CoP)

Excellent problem-solving, analytical and technical skills

Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
