Delica Meats is a family own & operated meat wholesaler specialising in supplying premium quality meats to the restaurant and food service sector since 1952.

Candidates must have wholesale butchering experience, particularly in supplying premium quality meats to the restaurant and food service sector.

About the role

We are currently seeking an experienced senior butcher to join our team, and ultimately take on a supervisory role within our company. This is a full time position Mon-Fri (no weekends) with hours from 5am until 2pm. Forget those retail butcher shop hours and weekend work. Just imagine missing peak hour traffic every day, not working any weekends and having the afternoons for errands.

Applicants must have a minimum of 3-5 years of butchering experience to be considered for this senior butcher position.

Skills and experience

This role is suitable for people who are pro-active, show initiative and up to a challenge with multiple tasks and deliverables.

Must be experience in butchering. Fully qualified person only apply.

Candidates must have completed an apprenticeship as their formal butchering qualification.

Applicants need to reside in Australia or have working visa rights. All international applicants will not be considered.

You will need to be organised, confident, self-motivated, reliable, work in a team environment.
