About the role

We are seeking experienced and qualified Butchers to join our newly open family-owned butchery business in Chelsea, Victoria. This full-time role is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about providing high-quality meat products and exceptional customer service. Sign on Bonus, Two-weeks leave In Jan and as a Qualified Quality Butcher, you will play a crucial role in our retail shop - No wholesale.

What you'll be doing

Expertly cutting, preparing and packaging a wide variety of meat products to the highest standards

Providing excellent customer service by advising customers on product selection and offering cooking tips

Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work environment

What we're looking for

Formal qualifications in Butchery or extensive experience as a Qualified Butcher

Excellent knife skills and the ability to efficiently break down and prepare a variety of meat cuts

Strong customer service orientation and the ability to provide product recommendations and cooking advice

Commitment to food safety and hygiene standards

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

A passion for the trades and services industry, particularly the butchery trade
