RESPONSIBILITIES

• Planning the design and execution of test cases
• Identify opportunities to improve system quality and testability
• Analyse requirements to ensure verifiability of data systems
• Create comprehensive testing documentation
• Provide support and advice to the team on quality matters
• Appraise the Test Lead on the progress and any schedule slippage

COMPETENCIES

• 5+ years as a QA Analyst with experience in ETL projects
• Experience across the SDLC and well versed in test methodologies
• Experience testing APIs and ETL jobs
• Knowledge of SQL, stored procedures and data validation
• Experience with AWS-based cloud deployments
• Able to liaise with key stakeholders and development teams
• Experience with Agile methodologies
• Defect management using JIRA
• Experience with development environment using Git, Jira and Confluence
• Finance experience and a customer-centric mindset
