Position Overview
This is a pivotal customer-facing role responsible for driving repeat visitation and delivering seamless reservation and event coordination. You'll be the first point of contact for guests and clients, managing inbound enquiries, bookings, and event logistics while working closely with our food and beverage, hotel, and events teams.
Key Responsibilities
Reservations Coordination
Manage daily reservations across dining, hotel, and events.
Maximise covers and patronage through strategic booking management.
Maintain and update reservation systems, policies, and procedures.
Liaise between departments to ensure operational alignment.
Train staff on reservation systems and processes.
Events Sales & Coordination
Handle inbound event and function enquiries.
Deliver end-to-end event coordination from enquiry to execution.
Assist with event design, equipment hire, and client liaison.
Prepare event documentation including run sheets and ticketing.
Represent LHE at events as required.
Communications & Marketing
Manage reservation inboxes and phone lines.
Respond to enquiries and complaints within 24–48 hours.
Collate and respond to online feedback.
Assist with website and media updates.
Administration & Reporting
Support general office administration.
Prepare weekly reports and update event spreadsheets.
Monitor reservation platforms and generate gift vouchers.
Selection Criteria
Qualifications & Experience
Certificate III in Events or Hospitality preferred.
Minimum 1-2 years of hospitality, customer service, or events experience required.
RSA Certificate.
Permanent residency or Australian citizenship.
Intermediate computer skills (POS, Microsoft Office, reservation platforms).
Experience with reservation systems and platforms preferred.
Flexible availability across 7 days.

$28.12 hourly is the standard Mon-Fri award rate according to the Hospitality Industry (General) Award 2020 - Level 4 Clerical Grade 3. Penalty rates on weekends and public holidays will apply.
