About the role
The Enrolled Nurse – Workforce (Identified) provides person-centred, evidence-based nursing care under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse, supporting the delivery of culturally safe and responsive care across Community and Oral Health services. Working within the Workforce Support Unit, the role contributes to flexible nursing support across multiple care settings, promoting quality outcomes for individuals and communities while upholding professional standards and collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Practice in accordance with professional standards, codes, and relevant legislation
- Support the Registered Nurse in providing culturally safe care to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples
- Contribute to nursing assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
- Report changes in patient health status to the Registered Nurse promptly
- Work collaboratively within an interprofessional healthcare team to promote safety and quality care
