Your new role:

As an Enrolled Nurse (Mental Health), you will practice under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Midwife, consolidating your knowledge and skills to deliver safe, person-centred care. You will contribute to the planning, delivery, and evaluation of care, supporting patients with complex mental health needs.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing evidence-based nursing care under RN supervision
• Delivering compassionate, person-centred support across mental health services
• Assisting with admission, treatment, and discharge processes
• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation in electronic medical record systems
• Supporting patients, families, and carers with education and advocacy
• Contributing to quality, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Upholding Metro South Health's values of Integrity, Compassion, Accountability, Respect, Engagement, and Excellence

About you:

We are seeking committed and adaptable Enrolled Nurses who are passionate about mental health nursing and recovery-focused care.

To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate:

• Current registration with AHPRA as an Enrolled Nurse (mandatory)
• Medication endorsement (required for this role)
• Ability to deliver safe, evidence-based care in collaboration with RNs
• Strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility to work across shifts and adapt to unit needs
• Commitment to professional development and reflective practice
• A current C Class driver's licence and ability to travel as required
