Regional Development Australia Wide Bay Burnett is host organisation and contract manager of two RJCs, one of which is located in beautiful Bundaberg. This role is based in Bundaberg and will work across the region, collaborating with RDAWBB’s other RJC, Jobs Fraser Coast.

As our Project Officer, you’ll be at the heart of workforce development in the region. You’ll coordinate exciting projects, lead engaging events, and connect students, employers, and training providers. Every day brings a chance to make a real difference, from helping a student discover their dream career to supporting a business to grow with skilled employees.

What We’re Looking For:

Experience in project coordination, workforce development, or community engagement.

Demonstrated strong understanding of the region’s workforce landscape, including major project investments, labour market trends, and the structure and opportunities within Australian Apprenticeships and Traineeships.

Outstanding people skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships.

A self-starter who can juggle multiple priorities and thrive in a dynamic environment.

Comfortable with MS Office and digital communication tools.

Current driver’s license.

Bonus Points:

Tertiary qualifications in community development, business, government policy, or related fields.

Established networks across Bundaberg’s industries, schools, and training providers.
