Parks Maintenance Employee

Tenure: Full Time – Permanent

Remuneration: $66,632.89 to $67,978.87 pa + super & annual leave loading

Join our Parks and Gardens team in a full-time role where you’ll help shape and care for Council’s outdoor spaces. From mowing and planting to weeding and edging, your days will be varied. If you enjoy working outdoors and making a visible impact in your community, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

We’re looking for someone who prioritises safety when operating machinery, enjoys being part of a supportive team, and takes pride in creating and maintaining outdoor spaces. Your contribution will help keep our municipality vibrant and welcoming for both the community and visitors to enjoy.

To be successful for this role you will require:

• Demonstrated skills in the operation of a range of plant and equipment used in Parks and Gardens activities.
• Demonstrated basic understanding of Occupational Health and Safety.
• Demonstrated experience working within a collaborative team environment.
• Valid Driver’s Licence and National Police Check.
• Victorian Employee Working with Children Check.
• MR Truck Licence. (desirable)
