Position Overview:

As a Garden Maintenance Worker, you will be responsible for the upkeep and care of commercial gardens. This hands-on role involves working outdoors year-round, ensuring gardens are healthy, tidy, and looking their best. You’ll be part of a team that values professionalism, customer service, and pride in workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

General garden maintenance including mowing, edging, weeding, pruning, hedging, and mulching

Planting and seasonal garden care

Lawn care including fertilising, pest control, and aeration

Use and maintenance of tools and machinery (whipper snippers, hedge trimmers, blowers, etc.)

Identifying and addressing plant health issues

Rubbish removal and site clean-up

Liaising politely and professionally with clients

Working independently or as part of a small team

Requirements:

Previous experience in garden maintenance or landscaping

Basic knowledge of plants, lawn care, and horticulture

Physically fit and able to work outdoors in various weather conditions

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work

Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude

White Card (or willingness to obtain)

Valid manual driver’s license (preferred)

Working With Children's Check

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
