Making it happen -The Role
As a Practice Leader, you will:
Provide operational leadership in Supported Independent Living services.
Oversee and support the implementation of participant plans, goals, and service agreements.
Lead, mentor and manage a team of Disability Support Workers, ensuring high-quality and consistent service delivery.
Conduct client assessments, liaise with families, Support Coordinators, and allied health professionals to ensure continuity of care.
Manage rostering, onboarding, and performance development of staff.
Act as the WHS Representative for designated sites, promoting a proactive safety culture.
Monitor incidents and ensure timely reporting in line with NDIS Quality & Safeguards requirements.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Experience in disability, community, or residential care leadership.
A sound understanding of NDIS Standards and compliance requirements.
Strong people management skills – coaching, mentoring, and developing staff.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Ability to manage rosters, incident reporting, and compliance frameworks.
Knowledge of WHS responsibilities and a proactive approach to safety.
Relevant qualification in Disability, Community Services, or Management.
Experience working with complex needs and restrictive practices.

You will maintain and enhance our high standards and build strong working relationships with our customers, regulators and other important stakeholders. This will include taking direct management responsibility for referrals, health and safety, compliance issues and financial control. You will also play an important strategic role in defining, developing and implementing our growth plans.
Ability to engage, build and maintain solid stakeholder relationships coupled with your sound negotiation and dispute resolution skills
A current driver's license, mandatory.
