The Opportunity
The Intake & Recruitment Officer is a vital administrative role responsible for managing the entry point for all new Santi Support Services employees and candidates.
You will utilize exceptional organizational skills to coordinate the entire pre-employment process, ensuring that every successful candidate is fully screened and compliant with NDIS requirements before they are handed over to the HR team for formal onboarding.

Key Responsibilities
A. Candidate Screening & Recruitment Coordination
Initial Screening: Manage and conduct initial administrative screening of job applications and candidate inquiries for various support roles, assessing basic fit and minimum qualifications.
Recruitment Scheduling: Coordinate and schedule interviews between hiring managers and candidates, handling all calendar management, correspondence, and providing timely process updates.
Handover: Prepare complete, verified, and compliant candidate files for the HR team to execute the final steps (e.g., issuing contracts and finalizing employment paperwork).
B. Compliance & Administration
Documentation & Reporting: Accurately document all candidate intake processes, screening stages, and compliance outcomes in our database/HRIS, ensuring strict adherence to internal policies and privacy standards.
Liaison: Build and maintain professional relationships with external recruitment platforms and third-party check providers.
Process Improvement: Assist in refining the candidate intake process to improve efficiency, speed, and accuracy of compliance verification.
What You Will Bring
Demonstrated experience in a high-volume administrative, HR, or Recruitment Coordination role.
Knowledge of NDIS Worker requirements and the compliance framework for support workers (advantageous).
Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, crucial for managing sensitive compliance documentation.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, characterized by professionalism and clarity.
Proficiency in utilizing HR Information Systems (HRIS) or similar applicant tracking software.
A genuine commitment to supporting a compliant, high-quality workforce.
