About the Role
Lifehackers Institute is seeking a full-time contract or permanent Advanced Behaviour Support Practitioner clinician to mentor our small 2-person team, and deliver behavioural support.
We have automated systems and our own in-house data specialist. We use a simple and easy CRM and revel in our out-of-the-box thinking. We like to call ourselves 'wellbeing creatives' as we continue to co-create new innovative ideas.

Key Responsibilities
To design, deliver, monitor, and evaluate positive behaviour support plans and services to children, young people and adults with a disability in line with the goals of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) plan, NDIS Positive Behaviour Support Capability Framework 2019 document, and/or individual goals.
To mentor the small (2 practitioners) BIS team and help them keep themselves on track for compliance and role requirements.
Key Performance Indicators
Provision of effective and appropriate support services to clients based on Lifehackers Institute values, standards and any relevant organizational policies and procedures.
Ø Effective and collaborative relationships are established with associated networks and other professionals to enhance program outcomes.
Ø Reporting is timely and accurate and enables key stakeholders to make informed and proactive decisions
Ø Participation in continuous improvement initiatives including policy and program development when required
Ø Participation in monthly community of practice meetings, monthly, innovation meetings and Lifehackers Institute annual meetings
Ø Be a STARLing: Sensitive, Trailblazing, Aware, Rational, Light and fun
Ø Maintain accurate, comprehensive, and timely records including those required to be maintained under legislation or funding agreements
Ø Support/Develop/Implement the development and maintenance of quality assurance systems to monitor service delivery and targets
Ø Understand how to Know your interventions either through your own analyses or liaising with data specialist
Ø Maintain own registration of Positive Behaviour Support practitioner ID with NDIS Commission as well as all other NDIS requirements such as WCC, Police Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check etc
Ø Mentor asmall team
Ø Other tasks as required and directed by management.
Mandatory
Applicants must meet the following job requirements:
Ø Qualification in Psychology, Occupational Therapist, Speech Pathology, Nursing, Social or Health Sciences incl. teaching, or relevant experience in the care industry particularly with behaviour support implementation.
Ø 2 years demonstrated experience in disability, mental health and/or private practice
Ø Minimum skills and knowledge at core practitioner level as defined in the NDIS capability Framework; or been granted provisional ID by the NDIS Commission
Ø Professional Membership with relevant bodies such as BSPA, AHPRA or PACFAØ Current NDIS PBS Practitioner registration is required at the time of application.
Ø Current state-based driver’s license
