The close knit team now require an experienced registered practitioner, proficient in complex presentations and providing functional behaviour assessments including RP's. They also welcome you to share your learnings and experience with the existing team-contributing to the collective success of the program.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Our client has been supporting locals with healthcare and wellbeing services for over twenty years. As a registered Behaviour Support Practitioner within the Psychology and Supports Team, you and the team will be providing clinical assessment and support for local people from multiple referral pathways. Their reputation is for understanding individual needs and fostering positive outcomes for clients and your skills are key to the organisation continuing to go from strength to strength.

DUTIES

* Bring a wealth of expertise as a registered BSP, promoting holistic well-being and meaningful progress whatever your area of specialism

* Experience of functional behaviour assessments, positive /preventative strategies, data-driven decision making, teaching and developing new skills as well as various lifestyle interventions to tailor outcomes to the unique needs of each individual

*A collaborative team approach, and a desire to work within a team environment where each member thrives and collectively contributes to the program's success.

* Providing clinical assessment and care planning in collaboration with multi disciplinary peers, they employ speech therapists, OTs and Psychology for both adults and children

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
• Degree qualifications in Social Work/Psychology or other Allied Health
• Registration or accreditation with the relevant professional body.
• Min. 2 years’ clinical experience
• Demonstrated experience in delivery of Positive Behaviour Support Strategies building on the individuals skills and strengths
• Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders
• Highly developed written and verbal communication skills including the ability to engage with a diverse range of people.
• Demonstrated capacity to work autonomously within an NDIS framework.
• Skilled in the use of computers/clinical software including client management systems and Microsoft Office programs
