The Role
This is a unique role with its mix of technical know-how and customer service focus, which supports our business, by providing customers an excellent experience - both before they buy and after they use our products and services. It is all about giving customers an easy, trouble free and enjoyable experience.
What you will enjoy doing
You will promote SPW’s growth ambition and brand across the region
Create long term value for SPW by building on established relationships and converting prospects to customers and responsible for accelerating business growth – sales revenue, gross margin, marketshare, EBIT
You focus on prospecting for new business opportunities, particularly major key accounts
Be a brand ambassador by actively promoting the SPW range of products and services
In addition, develop and maintain strategic relationships with key clients to foster loyalty and long-term engagement and identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and drive revenue growth
Monitor account performance and develop plans to meet and exceed performance targets, stay updated on industry trends, market activities, and competitors
Work alongside colleagues in the branch network to increase the impact of our overall business strategy
What makes you great
You have sound welding products knowledge with a deep understanding of how these products are applied
Understanding of price and margin management
Demonstrable ability to build and maintain an opportunity pipeline
You have to work collaboratively to build good working relationships across the SPW team and customer base
Results driven mindset - ability to take on the personal challenge of driving and delivering business results and outcomes
Demonstrable business development success & major account management experience where you will be able to handle tough conversations, challenge the status quo and recognise opportunities which deliver value
Demonstrated ability to self-manage (work independently), schedule effectively plus maintain and manage customers
A clean and valid driver’s license a must have
