Workfast are currently seeking Coded Welders for the 2:2 roster in Olympic Dam, Roxby Downs, SA.

Work for above-ground and underground.

MUST have 8F (GMAW) tickets

Highlight:

• Roxby Downs, SA 12 hours per day
• Ongoing work with 2:2 roster
• Flat rate $64
• Underground allowance $1.90 per hour
• Work for a reputable company and one of the biggest mining sites
• Meal, flight and camp provided, flights covered from Adelaide

Qualifications and Skills Required:

• Full Australian working rights with no restrictions
• Australia Trade Certificate Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade Boilermaking/Welding
• MUST have 8F (GMAW) tickets
• Must be able to pass the 6G welding test
• Able to work underground
• White card
• Confined Space Ticket (within 5 years)
• Working at Heights Ticket (within 5 years)
• Ability to complete police checks, drug and alcohol and medical

Responsibilities :

• Fabrication and Welding
• Coded Welding
• Ability to pass the 6G welding test
• 8F (GMAW) welding
• Assisting the team where necessary
• Ability to perform repetitive and physically demanding duties
• Complete ad hoc duties as assigned by the site supervisor
