Protech are currently seeking Field Officers to work from the Caboolture depot with the Fire Ant Program through Biosecurity Queensland. You will need to be able to start date will be on 5th November 2025.

This is an ongoing position and will require thorough and effective surveillance and treatment of insect pests through Southern Queensland.

Key Duties:

• Visual surveillance and bait treatment for insects
• Daily reporting tasks, data collection and record keeping
• Driving Company vehicle

Position mandatory requirements:

• Open car licence
• Ability to work in a team environment
• MUST have previous outdoor work experience in Landscaping, Agricultural, Arboricultural, Land Management and Conservation, Civil
• Face to Face customer service experience
• Must be physically fit as the role requires substantial walking through challenging terrain up to 10 - 15klm per day
• Pass a drug and alcohol screen
• Can pass a Police check
