Protech are currently seeking Field Officers to work from the Mutdapilly, Laidley and Toowoomba depot with the Fire Ant Program through Biosecurity Queensland.

This is an ongoing position and will require thorough and effective surveillance and treatment of insect pests through Southern Queensland. You will be required to start on 11th November 2025.

Key Duties:
Visual surveillance and bait treatment for insects
Daily reporting tasks, data collection and record keeping
Driving Company vehicle

Mandatory Position Requirements:
Open car licence
Ability to work in a team environment
Previous outdoor work experience in Landscaping, Agriculture, Arboriculture, Land Management and Conservation, Civil
Face to Face customer service experience
Must be physically fit as the role requires substantial walking through challenging terrain up to 10 - 15klm per day
Pass a drug and alcohol screen
Must be able to complete and pass a Police check
