Civil Locators & Operators needed across civil construction, subsurface utility locating, and infrastructure maintenance. These roles support key projects in government infrastructure, power line, telecommunications, energy, and water services. Utility Locator
Rate: $30-$55/hr (based on experience and certification level)
Help protect critical infrastructure by locating and mapping underground utilities using advanced EM and GPR technology.
Key Duties:

• Conduct subsurface utility investigations
• Interpret utility plans and records
• Operate and maintain locating equipment
• Collaborate with project teams
• Maintain accurate records and ensure safety compliance

Requirements:

• Certloc Locator (or willingness to train)
• 1+ year in a similar role
• Valid Driver's Licence & White Card
• First Aid & CPR (preferred)
• Western Power, ATCO & APA certifications (preferred)
• GPR, Confined Space, and Gas Atmosphere training (advantageous)

Civil Operator/Labourers
Rate: $41.25 - $53.75/hr + penalties (depending on experience and specialty)
Various roles to support civil and infrastructure works including trenching, pit installations, hydro excavation, and machinery operation.
Key Duties:

• Manual trenching, digging, and backfilling
• Installation of pits, pipes, and conduits
• Operating vacuum trucks and assisting with hydro excavation
• Operating Hiab trucks
• Hose setup, debris clearing, and equipment maintenance
• Machinery operation - 2.5-tonnes excavators, Hiab. and Vacuum Truck
• Site clean-up, traffic control, and spotting for trades
• Coordinating with site crews and ensuring safety compliance

Requirements:

• HR Driver's Licence & Excavator Ticket
• Experience around Excavators, Hiab. and Vacuum Truck
• White Card & First Aid/CPR
• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors
• Safety-conscious with experience around live underground services
• Basic mechanical knowledge (advantageous)
