This is an exciting opportunity for an accounting professional to join a growing not-for-profit organisation and offers a unique opportunity to work on all financial and accounting matters across the company’s national operations.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and proactive Senior Accountant who can work independently and contribute to the broader team. You will be based on site at our Midland WA office where you will sit alongside other service professionals from the Legal and Human Resources teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports including monthly statements and cash flow forecasts.
- Preparation and analysis of regular budgets including actual to variance.
- Provide advice to Executive Managers, Heads of Schools and Regional Managers on financial matters.
- Process and maintain supporting accounting programs, in particular the management of ExpenseMe Pro (credit card management) and MRI LeaseEagle/ProLease Express (leases).
Skills and Experience:
- A minimum of 4 years prior experience in accounting is essential.
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent essential.
- Member of Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand and/ or CPA Australia (desirable).
- Ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- High-level organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Highly developed communication skills both written and verbal.

Remuneration:
- AWCC Enterprise Agreement 2022-2025, at Level 18 $128,013
