About Multicultural Australia
Multicultural Australia supports thousands of refugees, migrants, and asylum seekers across Queensland to find their place in society. We are committed to fostering connections, empowering communities, and building a future where everyone feels welcome and valued. Our compassionate, person-centred approach ensures that people from diverse backgrounds receive the support they need to thrive.
At Multicultural Australia, we believe in building an inclusive team that reflects the diversity of the communities we serve. We offer opportunities for professional growth, leadership, and the chance to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals from migrant backgrounds.
About the Role
The Community Development and Engagement Function at Multicultural Australia leads initiatives that strengthen community connections and support regional development. A key focus of this function is the Community Hubs program, which operates within primary schools to build bridges between families—particularly mothers of pre-school-aged children from diverse cultural backgrounds—and the wider community.
