The Role:

We’re looking for an organised, detail-oriented Workshop Controller to help keep our workshop humming. You’ll be the person who ensures vehicles and paperwork flow smoothly through the workshop, keeping our team on track and our customers happy. If you’re someone who thrives in a busy environment and loves being the go-to person who keeps things running efficiently, we’d love to meet you!

What You’ll Be Doing:

Manage the Workshop Board: Organise jobs to ensure timely vehicle delivery and maximum workshop productivity (aim for 95-100% productivity).

Coordinate Jobs: Ensure vehicles are allocated to the right Technicians, manage repairs, and adjust for efficiency.

Customer Communication: Keep Service Advisors and Customers informed about job progress and any changes to delivery times (always stay ahead of the game!).

FIR Process: Follow up on diagnostics and ensure the proper steps are taken to complete repairs effectively and efficiently.

Workshop Coordination: Ensure vehicles are road-tested and inspected within 10 minutes of being completed, then pass the baton to our Life Cycle Advisors.

Stay Sharp: Keep your skills up to date with regular training and actively participate in Kaizen activities.

What We’re Looking For:

Required:

You’ve got qualifications as a Motor Vehicle Mechanic (or equivalent), or you’ve spent at least 2 years working as a Service Advisor.

You’re organised, calm under pressure, and great at keeping everyone in the loop.

Desirable:

Experience in a busy automotive workshop environment is a plus.

A passion for helping the team succeed and ensuring customers are taken care of.
