The team at Little Miss Muffin is seeking a Kitchen hand to help make our delicious products! Experience isn't necessary but would be advantageous. Pay dependent on experience.

Position: Casual Kitchen Hand

Location: Southport, QLD, 4215

Hours: 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday

Hours available: Minimum 30hrs per week but may be more in peak periods

Language Requirement: Must be fluent in English

Transport: Having own transport is an advantage

Experience: Prior experience is beneficial but not mandatory

Physical Fitness: Must be able to lift 20kg

Personal Hygiene: Must maintain high standards of personal cleanliness

Work Ethic: Must be self-managed, highly motivated with a positive attitude

- Responsibilities:
- Prepare batches of ingredients according to predetermined recipes to meet production schedule demands.
- Operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, and pastry tools under the guidance of experienced staff.
- Support team members in various manufacturing tasks to meet production goals.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen workspace, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste.
- Assist in inventory management by stocking ingredients and supplies and notifying management when stocks are running low.
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times to ensure the safety and quality of our products.
- Collaborate with team members to efficiently complete tasks and contribute to a positive work environment.
