I'm currently working with a leading organization that's looking for an experienced Report Test Engineer with a strong background in Power BI and D365.

Location: Australia-wide (must have full working rights)

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough testing of data models, transformations, and reporting layers to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Validate data integrity within Data Warehouses and Data Lakes using structured testing techniques.
• Perform functional and regression testing of reports and data extracts to meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with analysts and developers to ensure data models accurately reflect business needs.
• Use SQL and modern data tools to troubleshoot issues, support ETL testing, and enhance automation.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated expertise in testing data models and transformations within analytics and reporting environments.
• Strong experience in validating Data Warehouses and Data Lakes using structured schematic models.
• Proven ability to test and verify reports and dashboards developed in Microsoft Power BI.
• Solid knowledge of ETL processes and tools; experience with Microsoft Fabric and Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL, particularly when working with Microsoft SQL Server.
